The course is taught by artists and designers who are active in the professional world and by theoretical lecturers who hold a doctorate or are in the process of writing their thesis. Throughout the year, guest lecturers are also invited for workshops, lectures, performances, etc.
The teaching team ensures that the knowledge required for the course is passed on, and strives to bring out the creativity and individuality of each student. It develops and renews its content and methods to adapt its teaching to the students and to changes in the artistic, graphic and technical contexts. The quality of the support provided to students is made possible by the school’s ‘human scale’, which means that it can react quickly, circulate information efficiently and be very user-friendly.
The École supérieure d’art et de design des Pyrénées is located on two sites: Pau and Tarbes. It is administered by a joint management team, with shared support services.
The technical team supports the students and provides them with methods to guarantee safety, achieve quality results and master the tools.
The administrative team works to establish and maintain the best possible learning conditions and equity for all, while taking account of students’ individual career paths.
