DNA (bachelor’s degree)
The aim of the three-year first cycle of studies is to enable students to master the fundamental theoretical and technical tools of artistic creation, and to identify their personal project. It culminates in a first-cycle diploma, the Diplôme National d’Art (DNA), recognized as a Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3).
This diploma involves examination of the student’s academic record, presentation of a selection of significant artistic works from the three years of study, and an interview with a jury.
Admission to the fourth year of the program is subject to the student’s first-cycle diploma and a favorable decision by the school’s director, on the recommendation of a committee of teachers.
DNSEP (master’s degree)
The two-year second cycle is devoted to preparing for the Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique (DNSEP), enriched by a professional internship or study period abroad in the fourth year of study.
During these two years, students must also deepen their theoretical training, both through research leading to the writing and defense of a dissertation. This leads to the Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique (DNSEP), recognized as a Master’s degree (Bac +5).
Students holding the DNSEP can continue their studies at university or prepare for the agrégation.
