A) Matter

Discovering and practicing Olfactory Art

-What is olfaction, different olfactory materials and scent families, scent extraction techniques: distillation and enfleurage, olfactory grammar, scent writing and the synesthetic approach, the fundamentals of composition in olfactory creation, scent/color/sound correspondences.

B) Movement

Research laboratory and olfactory performance
Explore the volatility of odors and the diffusion of scents in a space, learn about olfactory scenography and olfactory staging, create a performance around an odor,

Clémence Millet is an author, puppeteer and olfactory artist. She founded the Miss Bouillon company, in which she creates shows, performances, scents and workshops around the sensory journey combining olfactory art and theater. Olfactory culture is at the heart of her theatrical research. She develops olfactory staging and questions the dramaturgy of scents. Distilling scents, developing scent stories and olfactory scenography, exploring the imaginary world of scents. Poetry is an act that smells.
